we’ve seen concrete formed to mirror wood grain and we’ve seen plaster formed to look like brick. but in this smart little side table natural elm wood has been carved and cut in a brick and mortar pattern for a look that is both surprising and chic. with a smooth flat plank surface on the top, a hollowed interior and brick patterning on the four outward facing sides, the travis cube is sturdy, even hefty, but light enough to move around when necessary. the wood is lightly sealed and, as with all natural surfaces, we recommend a coaster to prevent staining.
