about two years after meeting D’Ette Cole, I was invited to her home for a small gathering.  it was then that I saw her collection of the smallest, most beautiful bits of found nothing I’ve ever seen: specks of color on vintage wrappers, antique miniature toys, beautiful rocks, vibrant bits of coral, tiny playing cards… each small piece paired with the next to create a living collage of inspiration, housed inside a curio cabinet that had never been more aptly named.  constantly collecting, creating and repurposing decor ideas, as she did those very curios, D’Ette Cole has an extraordinary gift for pairing the unexpected.  in her design work, as in her personality, D’Ette draws light to possibility.

with over 20  years of interior design experience and accolades including numerous national magazine features, a grammy nomination for creative direction, art creation for the Austin MTV Real World house,  the founding of Clutter and former co-ownership of Uncommon Objects, D’Ette brought her uncommon talent, her inspired eye, her excitement and boundless inspiration to red, to launch red’s official interior design wing.
